I love the mower, but the mulching kit was horrible. Not only does it leave clumps of grass everywhere, but the blades don't create any lift, so the cut is very uneven.
When your front wheels roll over the grass and push it down, the blades don't lift it up to cut it. Once those blades of grass stand back up, they're all uncut and taller than the rest.
I tried different deck heights and it didn't make a difference.
Don' bother with the mulch kit.
