I gave this lawnsweeper 1 star because I could not give it less! The bottom line is it is poorly designed and even worse poorly made and assembly was a nightmare.
This sweeper failed, the wheels locked up after only 3 uses! There is a sweeper I reccomend at the end of this review.
Lets start with the main frame: the two (2) main arms that attached the bag are made of a cheap grade steel and very thin. They will bend when the bag is less then 3/4 full and will also spread apart and break away from the main frame. The tow tongue comes with 3 small rings that you have to play with in order to adjust tow height and its not easy.
The bag itself will tear with little stress. The seam where the pivot bar goes through will tear while you are trying to put the bag unit together. Each of the other seams are as poorly made.
The wheel have a smooth tire edge which does not grip properly to turn the sweepers. In addition you cannot adjust the sweepers to NOT sweep when trying to store it, etc.
The handle to pull and dump the bag bounces around while you are sweeping, and after you unload, you need to leave the mower to attach it to the lock clip which slides when you unload the bag and it does a horrible job of keeping the dump handle from bouncing around!
After returning the Agri-Fab I researched and purchased a lawnsweeper from Ohio Steel, Amazon item B000IJWZWE. It is extremely well made, easy to assemble and easy to use.

This sweeper is made of heavy gauge steel and is very well constructed. Took about two hours to assemble. If you can put together a bookcase in a box, then you won't have any trouble with this sweeper. Agri-fab's phone number is in the documentation and I decided to test their customer service by calling and claiming a missing part. My call was answered promptly by a very nice AMERICAN lady who was ready to ship the replacement part that day if I had actually needed it.
This thing really sweeps - I was amazed at the amount of grass it picks up. If the tow bar is mounted on the tractor so that the bottom of the bag is parallel to the ground the grass will feed all the way to the back of the bag, filling it completely and the load can become very heavy. After a couple of uses I took the dump handle off and replaced it with a rope, which I felt made it easier to use.
